My name is Jesse, I’ve been a pen and ink artist for as long as I can remember. I focus heavily on architecture, landscapes and cityscapes, but have been involved in art projects ranging from anatomy, archaeology and logo design.

I grew up in Northern California, and I spend most of my time outside of my drawing studio riding bikes, playing with my border collie and working as a biologist.

I am not a trained artist. I never attended classes, art school or took seminars. To some, that may be painfully obvious, but I have learned over the years that being formally taught art is not a requirement for creating art. That realization is what allowed me to break into the professional world of art.

I am passionate about this art form, and excited about helping others get started in architectural sketching.
